Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to machine a workpiece placed on a carriage truck from the lower portion by providing a working hole substantially at the center of the truck, and providing a stator of a linear pulse motor in the station of the truck. CONSTITUTION:A pair of stators 40 made of a magnetic material such as pure iron or the like are fixedly mounted at every two sets on main rails 50 formed substantially in a recess section to form stations S1-S4. Sub rails 60 are mounted corresponding to main rails at an interval corresponding to the width of a carriage truck 70. A movable element is provided at the side lower portion of the truck 70. In other words, the truck 70 includes a chassis 71 and a drive unit 72. Holes 73, 74 which have the prescribed area are provided on the chassis 71, and a plurality of wheels 75 rolling on the rails 50, 60 are provided. A linear pulse motor is composed of the movable element and the stator 40 provided in the drive unit 72.
