Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise and lower a self-propelled vehicle loaded with a heavy load, and convey the heavy load at high speed.
SOLUTION: An induction line 43 feeding high frequency currents and a secondary conductor of a linear motor are laid over the horizontal part of a rail device B, and pickup units (coil) P generating induced electromotive force from the induction line 43 and a stator of the linear motor fed from the coils P, are provided in a self-propelled vehicle V. Further, externally driven pinion gears are arranged over the vertical part and vertical curved part of the rail device B, and racks 19A, 19B, 19C which are engaged with the pinion gears are provided in the self-propelled vehicle V.
