PURPOSE: To obtain a conveying device conveying a large weight by covering the upper space between a pair of the right and left guide rails with a rail cover and arranging wheels of a motor-driven running dolly, a driving means and a current collector in the space covered by the rail cover.
CONSTITUTION: A rail cover 5 covering the upper space between a pair of the right and left guide rails 2B and 2A is supported by a rail cover stanchion 7 erected on a support frame 6, and a rack gear 3 and a power feed rail 4 are fitted to the rail cover stanchion 7 in the space surrounded by the rail cover 5. Brackets 8 entering the space in the rail cover 5 are fitted at four corners on a motor-driven running dolly 1, a support wheel 9 rolled on the upper side face 2a of the guide rails 2A and 2B and a float preventing horizontal shaft wheel 10 in contact with the lower face side 2b are pivotally supported on each bracket 8, and a swing stop vertical shaft wheel 11 pinching both the right and left side faces 2d and 2c is fitted to the bracket 8 on the guide rail 2A side.
