To provide a conveying device capable of reducing energy required to convey articles to be conveyed.
The conveying device 1 is configured to convey a parts box Z from a point A to a point B. The conveying device 1 includes: a movable carriage 5 for placing the parts box Z on the top surface 5a thereof; a conveyance path 3 for moving and guiding the movable carriage 5 from the point A to the point B. The conveying path 3 extends from the point A to the point B on the moving track of the movable carriage 5. The conveyance path 3 includes: a sliding surface 11 allowing the bottom surface 5b of the movable carriage 5 to slide; guide walls 13 erected so as to extend along the moving track on both sides of the sliding surface 11 so as to guide the movable carriage 5; and a friction reducing liquid 17 that is reserved in a space sectioned by both the guide walls 13 and formed above the sliding surface 11 so as to reduce friction between the bottom surface 5b of the movable carriage 5 and the sliding surface 11.
