Abstract:
To provide a conveying device capable of acquiring a stop timing of a motor with high precision without depending on resolution of a pulse signal of an encoder in a switchback operation using a reverse brake.SOLUTION: A control unit 23 decelerates a switchback motor 13 at a predetermined acceleration while applying braking torque in a reverse rotation direction against a rotation direction of the switchback motor 13 during a conveying period until the switchback motor 13 stops in the switchback operation. Then, the control unit 23 calculates the timing when the switchback motor 13 stops based on a conveying speed before a start of deceleration of the switchback motor 13 due to braking torque in a reverse rotation direction and acceleration of the switchback motor 13 during deceleration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
