Abstract:
To provide a transport device capable of achieving an operation of being connected to a carriage without providing a lifting device in a connection mechanism itself.SOLUTION: A transport device 1 comprises: a first connection mechanism 3 provided on an upper surface; a base member 4 provided on the upper surface; a slide mechanism (for example, a first slide part 5) that slides a position of the first connection mechanism 3 relative to the base member 4 on a slide axis; and a traveling mechanism for causing the transport device 1 to travel. The first connection mechanism 3 comprises: running-on parts provided on the slide axis; and a connection part to be connected to a transport object. The running-on parts become a running-on state where the running-on parts runs on an upper surface of the base member 4 when the position of the first connection mechanism 3 is slid relative to the base member 4 by the slide mechanism. The connection part is lifted to be connected with the transport object when the running-on parts become the running-on state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
