PURPOSE: To conveying slurry with a high degree of efficiency, by making, into water slurry having a high concentration, even coal, etc. which have heretofore made into highly concentrated slurry.
CONSTITUTION: In a conveying method in which dispersion group slurry which is formed by mixing solid particles such as, for example, coal, solution such as, for example, water, methanole or heavy oil and the other third substance, is conveyed from a slurry adjusting stage to a predetermined slurry utilizing stage, the dispersion group slurry which have been prepared in the slurry adjusting stage is mechanically vibrated by sound-waves, so that the slurry is conveyed under the vibrated condition. For example, after crude coal 27 is pulverized by a pulverizer 28, the thus pulverized coal, water 30 and an additive 31 are mixed together in a slurry adjusting tank 29 so that ultra-highly concentrated slurry 33 may be obtained, which is then fluidized by being subjected to vibration from a vibrator 32 to be loaded into a tank 34 in a tanker. After the slurry is introduced into a coal storage section by the tanker 35, the slurry in the tank 36 of the tanker is conveyed into a storage tank 38. At this time the slurry is vibrated by a vibrator 37 to be fluidized.
