Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying system adapted to travel a carrier with two or more types of driving devices.
SOLUTION: This conveying system includes: a carrier 10 and a traveling rail 6 continuously installed extending over the whole conveying route and supporting the carrier 10 to be travelled and regulated from moving vertically and horizontally. In the system, a power chain type driving device 2 using a power chain 20 obtained by connecting center links 21 and side links 22 alternately with connecting pins 23, a friction roller type driving device 3 or a roller chain type driving device 4 is suitably selected according to each work process to be sequentially installed in series. The carrier 10 is provided with front and rear flopper dogs 32, 37 and a linear vertical side wall 12 extending between the front and rear end parts of the carrier 10 as means for receiving the transmission of traveling power from any of three types of driving devices. A cylinder device 5 for a feeder is provided in a relay part of the driving device, and a cam part 18 is provided in the rear of the carrier.
