Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide conveyor belts without causing grave environmental pollution.
CONSTITUTION: Conveyor belts can be obtained by applying a block copolymer composition comprising at least (a) a block copolymer which contains at least two terminal (vinyl aromatic) blocks and at least one internal poly(conjugated diene) block and is optionally modified by grafting a polar moiety thereto, (b) a non-aromatic plasticizing oil, and (c) a terminal block compatible resin on at least one side of a fabric having 5-25 threads per cm, preferably 10-20 threads per cm, more preferably 15-18 threads per cm in both directions, the threads having a thickness in the range of from 20 μ-300 μ, preferably 100 μ-300 μ.
