To provide a conveyor belt that exhibits a required tension and saves the resource than the conventional art.
The conveyor belt has a sail cloth 1 serving as a core body, a resin layer 3 is laminated on the conveying surface 2 side thereof, and the opposite surface side thereof serving as a sliding surface 4 with a table or the like. The sail cloth 1 comprises warps 5 arranged straightly in the belt longitudinal direction, wefts 6 arranged on both the sliding surface 4 side and the resin lamination surface side with respect to the warps 5, and entangling threads 7 of the belt longitudinal direction that is entangled with the wefts 6 arranged on the sliding surface 4 side and the wefts 6 arranged on the resin lamination surface side. Since the warps constituting the sail cloth as the core body are arranged straightly in the belt longitudinal direction, a unit belt can exhibit a tension required as the belt even when the unit belt is not laminated to two plies or three plies.
