To provide a conveyor device capable of performing coordination of the points of origin of a plurality of drive devices in between quickly by absorbing the slack of a chain set around the drive devices.

The conveyor device is equipped with the chain 2, the drive devices D1 and D2 consisting of sprockets S1 and S2, motors M1 and M2 and brakes B1 and B2, position sensors E1 and E2, and a control device 4 which puts off the brake B2 of the drive device D2 into the non-drive condition and makes rotatable with the drive of the chain 2, absorbs the slack of the chain 2 by driving the drive device D1, stops the drive device D1 when the output pulses of the position sensor E2 becomes a specified change amount where the tension of the chains 2 exceeds the proper range, drives the drive device D2, stops the drive device D2 when the output pulses of the position sensor E2 becomes a specified change amount where the tension of the chains 2 lies within the proper range, and performs coordination of the points of origin of the drive devices D1 and D2 in between.
