To reduce the number of using motors and to reduce the cost of a conveyor device by juxtaposing at least two conveyors on a support frame having a required number of support legs, and controlling the transmission of power to each conveyor by a claw clutch device.
A conveyor device 1 comprises at least two (three in the drawing) conveyors 3 longitudinally juxtaposed on a support frame having a plurality of support legs, and each conveyor 3 comprises a lateral pair of front side plates 9 having a length L and a lateral pair of rear side plates 9 having a length M. The carrying of an article is performed through a carrying band 19 such as chain laid over drive wheels 17 provided on both ends of a driving base shaft 15 supported on the rear side plates 9 and driven wheels 11 supported on the front side plates 9. A claw clutch device 23 is provided on the driving base shaft 16, and it is remotely operated, whereby the power from a motor 33 is connected and disconnected.
