To provide a conveyor whose accelerating and decelerating speed can be increased upon start or stop of a tray and in which the productivity of various kinds of articles to be conveyed is improved by using the tray.
Since a tray accelerating and decelerating motor 44 is driven by electrically synchronously with a conveying motor to forcedly accelerate and decelerate an accelerating and decelerating frame 41 in a conveying direction, a tray 11 clamped to the accelerating and decelerating frame 41 can be also forcedly accelerated and decelerated. The accelerating and decelerating speed of the tray can be increased more than that of the tray 11 depending only on the conveying motor. Accordingly, the conveying speed of the tray 11 is increased to decrease a line cycle and improve the productivity of various kinds of articles.
