Abstract:
PURPOSE: To convey a pallet smoothly and accurately in the vertical and horizontal directions by mounting racks with inclined teeth vertically and horizontally at the bottom surface of the pallet, and disposing driving gears with inclination so that they may be engaged with the racks.
CONSTITUTION: A driving means which moves multiple pallets vertically and horizontally is formed out of multiple racks 3 and multiple driving gears 4 and a motor 5. The racks 3 are fixed, crossing each other, at the bottom surface of the pallet, have inclined gears which are engaged with the driving gears 4 disposed with inclination, and moves the pallet through the rack 3 vertically and horizontally by rotating the driving gear 4. In order to move the pallet at a position A on the right lower side to an empty space K, for example, the driving gear 4 on the bottom surface of the pallet at the position A is rotated in a arrowed direction. In order to move the pallet at a position B to the empty space K, the driving gear 4 on the bottom surface of the pallet at the position B is rotated to the arrowed direction. When the pallet has moved to a boundary, the gear 4 at the empty space K is driven, thereby moving the pallet to the empty space K.
