Abstract:
To provide a transport device capable of saving space as compared with the conventional case.SOLUTION: The transport device is installed side by side with other transport devices or mounting stands with a space and include: a main transport unit; a delivery transport unit; and posture changing means. The main transport unit has rollers, a pair of transport side frames for supporting the rollers, and a connecting member for connecting a pair of transport side frames. The delivery transport unit can be changed by posture change means to a transporting posture of forming a single transport path with the main transport unit and closing the space, or to a retreating posture located on a lower side of the transport path and retreated from the space. The posture change means has a motor, and by driving the motor, the delivery transport unit can be changed from a retreating posture to a transporting posture. The connecting member contacts a part of the delivery transport unit and the delivery transport unit maintains the transporting posture when changing the delivery transport unit from the retreating posture to the transporting posture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
