To provide a cooking apparatus which achieves reduction in time required for opening and closing a lid 2 thereby an increase in work efficiency and can improve the quality of heated products.
The cooking apparatus has a pot body 1 in a cylindrical shape with a bottom, whose upper surface can be opened and closed by providing the lid 2; and a heating means for heating food materials housed inside the pot body 1, wherein a food material carry-in port 6 passing through the member of a pot is provided on the part of the lid 2 at the upper part of the pot body, a food material carry-in path 10 is connected above the food material carry-in port 6, and a food material carry-in controller 11 for controlling food material carry-in into the pot body is provided in the middle of the food material carry-in path 10. Also, a food material carry-away port 7 passing through the member of the pot is provided at the bottom part of the pot body 1, a food material carry-away path 12 is connected below the food material carry-away port 7, and a food material carry-away controller 13 for controlling food material carry-away from the inside of the pot body is provided in the middle of the food material carry-away path 12.
