PURPOSE: To instantaneously conduct holding of the attraction or opening of a magnet valve at the time of igniting a table gas cooking appliance.

CONSTITUTION: This cooking appliance burner has a thermocouple TC installed at the lower part of a burner head B to sense the combustion of the burner to hold the attraction or opening of a magnet valve, and comprises a weir 2 provided integrally with an annular gas passage 16 at this side of a burner port 1 for forming heating flame (a) for heating the thermocouple TC to thereby straighten mixed gas to stabilize the direction of the flame to the thermocouple TC.
