To provide a cooking apparatus wherein productivity is improved by speedily cooking a deep-fried food which is excellent in taste and eating feeling and which tastes good even when it is cooled down.
The cooking apparatus F is provided with a cooking auxiliary machine A1 and a frier 5. The cooking auxiliary machine A1 consists of: a vertical movement device 2 for vertically controlling a cooking container 3 corresponding to twice frying or three times frying by a controller 1; a heated air blowing device 6 and an installing stand 4 for blowing heated air to the fried food while removing oil from the fried food after taking up the cooking container 3 from oil. The cooking container 3 comprises an outer frame, a bottom plate and partition frames provided inside the outer frame side by side so as to arrange the fried foods at prescribed intervals with the areas of larger surface parts standing vertically.
