To provide a cooking container capable of pressing a food material even at the time of filling a food material and packaging the food material and during the conveyance of the cooking container without a fear of damaging the inner surface of the container capable of cooking the food material or fracturing the heat- or oil-resisting treatment of the inner surface.
This cooking container is equipped with an outer container 10 having a nearly rectangular vertical cross section, an inner container 6, capable of sliding in the outer container 10, having the opened upper part and provided with bent handle parts formed at the tops of sliding sidewalls extending in the sliding direction so as to enable the bending and a pressing member 20, arranged in the inner container 6, having an upper opened and U-shaped vertical cross section, the width in the central part nearly equal to that on the top surface of a package housing a food material 4 and the height of both rising wall parts nearly equal to a value obtained by subtracting the height of the package housing the food material 4 from the height of the sliding sidewalls of the inner container 6 in the cooking container, housing the food material packaged in a package therein and used even as a container for cooking the food material.
