The pot has the knob containing a mechanism for activating a plate valve to discharge the stem in the cooking space before drippings due to boiling-over fall through the gap between the main body of the pot and the lid, keeping the condensate in an accumulating part, and making the water flow back into the cooking space when the plate valve is opened again in a compact manner.
