PURPOSE: To prevent vibration at high temp. during cooking and also generation of uncomfortable sounds by forming a cooking table concerned from a compound which consists of all-aromatic type liquid crystal polyester and a filler and whose thermal deformation point with a load of 18.5kg/cm is 200°C or more.

CONSTITUTION: A compound is prepared from an all-aromatic type liquid crystal polyester, which consists of non-filled resin of a three-dimensional copolymer of 4-hydroxybenzonic acid, biphenol, and terephthalic acid (commercially available as zider), in which 25wt.% glass fiber and 25wt.% tarc are included. This material is injection molded by an injection molding machine to yield a flat plate form cooking table for electromagnetic cooking apparatus, wherein the thickness measures 2.5mm and a frame is provided. The thermal deformation point of this compound with a load of 18.5kg is 290°C. Thereby vibration and generation of uncomfortable sounds at high tamp. during cooking can be prevented.
