Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain plurality of slices through a single operation of moving a utensil from top to bottom and to obtain slices with plural kinds of thicknesses. SOLUTION: This utensil includes a bifurcated holder 4 formed integrally with a handle 2, a plurality of blade holding parts 7, 8 provided on the branching pieces 5, 6 of the holder 4 along their longitudinal directions, and a blade unit 10 freely removably attached to the blade holding parts 7, 8. The blade 11 of the blade unit 10 has a double-sided blade where edges are formed from both sides, a first one-sided blade with an edge formed on one side, and a second one-sided blade with an edge formed on the other side, at least one of the blades being selectively attached to the blade holding parts 7, 8.
