Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of the title device and improve the machining accuracy of the same by a method wherein a shaft, consisting of the cylinder of a refrigerant discharging unit, is made separable from the main body of a rotor shaft while an axial hole, provided on the cylinder, communicates with the radial hole of the same cylinder through a refrigerant discharging passage. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft side refrigerant discharging unit 21 is connected to a rotary shaft 20 through bolts 22 while a refrigerant discharging passage 6, provided on the refrigerant discharging unit 21, is a hole bored axially and communicates with a radial hole or a discharging port 7. Further, the refrigerant discharging passage 6 is connected to a refrigerant discharging pipe 23. The refrigerant discharging unit 21 is made of a magnetic steel or 9% nickel steel, for example, having no low-temperature brittleness and, therefore, it is easy to form a magnetic circuit when sealing is magnetic fluid seal. According to this method, the refrigerant discharging passage 6 may be formed easily by boring an axial hole and, therefore, the manufacture of the title device may be facilitated and the machining accuracy of the same may be improved.
