PURPOSE: To provide a coolant nozzle which is constituted to efficiently spray coolant against the machining portion of a tool from an arbitrary direction in spite of simple structure by utilizing the existing structure of a collet chuck.

CONSTITUTION: A coolant nozzle 30 with which the end face 21a of a collet 21 and the vicinity of the grasping part of the tool 1 are covered is securely attached to a grasping mechanism, comprising the collet 21 attached to the inner side of a holder body 20 and a nut 22 by means of which a tool 1 is fastened by the collet 21, by means of a screw part 31 joined in a screwed-in state with the screw part 22b of the nut 22. The interior of the coolant nozzle 30 is sealed with seal rings 32 and 33. A nozzle part 34 extending through the coolant nozzle 30 is mounted on the front side in a state that it is pointed slightly further internally than a machining part 1a.
