Title:
COOLER FOR ICE MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3888815
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooler for an ice machine to promote turbulence of a refrigerant in a refrigerant chamber and increase cooling capacity by equalizing vaporization of a refrigerant with cooling of a heat transfer surface.
SOLUTION: In a cooler used in a dynamic type ice machine to form a refrigerating cycle by intercoupling a compressor 14, an evaporator 1, and a condenser 15, the evaporator 1 is of a double cylinder type and forms a cooler constituted such that the inside of a refrigerant chamber 2 having the outside through which a refrigerant 18 flows forms an ice making chamber 3 having inside through which water or low density brine 12 flows and producing slurry-form ice and a resistor 21 to diffuse a velocity of flow of a refrigerant is mounted on the refrigerant chamber 2. In a so formed cooler for an ice machine, the resistor is mounted in a wire net-form state, a bellows-form state, or a spiral state in the longitudinal direction of the peripheral direction of a refrigerant chamber. Further, mounting is effected such that density is steppedly changed in a state that the vicinity of a refrigerant gas outlet where the velocity of flow of a refrigerant in a refrigerant chamber is high forms close density and a position spaced away from a refrigerant gas outlet forms coarse density.
