Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5714136
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform a cooling operation economically by a method wherein a sequare frame is fitted in a cutout part of the floor of a room to cool, a fan is mounted on the square frame and the cool air under the floor is caused to blow out into the room.

CONSTITUTION: A part of floor plate 1 including matting of the room is cut open in the shape of a square and the square frame 2 opening upward and downward and provided with a hanging lip 6 on the upper periphery thereof is fitted into, and fixed to, the cutout part of the floor plate 1. Then, the fan 4 is arranged within the square frame 2 through a couple of support rods 3 so that when an impeller 5 of the fan is rotated, the cool air under the floor is sucked up and blown into the room. Further, at a position above the fan 4, there is attached a netting 7 for receiving fallen substances to thereby prevent the impeller 5 of the fan 4 from being damaged by these substances during rotation. Thus, it is possible to cool the rool comfortably by the cooler of a simple strucrure enabling the cool air to be blown into the room.
