To achieve a cooling apparatus for a moving body that utilizes water vaporization heat.
The cooling apparatus comprises a vaporization cooling part and an interior cooling part. The vaporization cooling part comprises a water storage device, an air pipe, and an atomization device and a recovery unit respectively provided in the air pipe. A part of water supply to the water storage device uses moisture that is recovered after being generated when movement energy of a moving body is generated. An air-intake opening part of the air pipe is opened in the moving body in the moving direction while the air pipe is installed in parallel with the moving body in the moving direction so as to allow the air pipe to efficiently perform air intake operation and vaporization during the movement of the moving body. Air cooled inside the air pipe in the vaporization cooling part is supplied to an air pipe in the interior cooling part while air in the moving body interior is blown to the air pipe in the interior cooling part by a fan so as to perform heat exchange, thereby cooling the moving body interior.
