To heighten the display effects of merchandise by indirectly illuminating the merchandise displayed in a display rack and to heighten unique display effects by swaying a sheet made of woven fabric, nonwoven fabric, paper, or the like.
The cooling case 1 is provided with a heat insulating main body 4 of which the front surface is open and which comprises a storage room 3 inside, a see-through door 5 to opening-closing-freely block the opening 2 of the heat insulating main body 4, and an air blower 10 for circulating air in the storage room 3. Cool air guiding plate 13 and 14 are provided for both sides of the inner walls of the heat insulating main body 4 at intervals to the inner walls. An illuminating device 24 for indirect illumination is provided for the space surrounded with the back-surface sides of the cool air guiding plates 13 and 14, the inner back-surface wall 25 of the heat insulating main body 4, and the inner walls of the heat insulating main body 4. The inner back- surface wall 25 of the heat insulating main body 4 is provided with the sheet 30 made of the fiber of woven fabric, nonwoven fabric or Japanese paper.
