PURPOSE: To provide an electric car cooling device which is capable of securing a satisfactory cooling performance with saved electric power.
CONSTITUTION: A cooling device 13 is provided with a cooling unit D which comprises a liquid heat exchanger 3 and an air-cooled heat exchanger 4 and a radiator 9 which constitutes a coolant circuit with the liquid heat exchanger 3 and an electric motor-driven pump 11. The radiator 9 is designed to cool a coolant by emitting the heat of the coolant when receiving the air supply of a motor-driven fan 12. The motor-driven pump 11 is interposed by a coolant pipeline 10 which is connected like a ring between the liquid heat exchanger 3 and the radiator 9 and operates under the power supply from a control device 13, thereby circulating the coolant between the liquid heat exchanger 3 and the radiator 9. The control device 13 drives the motor-driven pump 11 and the motor-driven fan 12 when the detection temperature T of a temperature sensor 14 which detects the temperature of electric components 2 exceeds the setting temperature T1 while it stops the drive of the motor-driven pump 11 and the motor-driven fan 12 when the detection temperature T1 is less than the setting temperature T1.
