To provide a cooling device in which a decrease in cooling performance is suppressed, and that can supply an amount of working fluid required for cooling even when heat generated in a semiconductive switching element in an invertor circuit of an electronic device and an electric vehicle increases.
The cooling device 3 for circulating the working fluid 11 and cooling by phase changes between a liquid phase and a gas phase, includes: a heat receiving unit 4, a heat dissipation unit 5, a heat dissipating path 6, and a return path 7, wherein a check valve 16 is provided in the return path 7. The cooling device is provided with a plurality of outlets 15, and a plurality of the heat dissipating paths 6 corresponding to the number of the outlets 15. This allows a circulation resistance value of the working fluid 11 in the heat dissipating paths 6 to decrease, and a circulation amount of the working fluid 11 to increase. As a result, even when heat generated in a semiconductive switching element 9 increases, an amount of the working fluid 11 required for cooling can be supplied, thus providing a cooling device 3 in which a decrease in cooling performance is suppressed.
