PURPOSE: To forcedly cool a work without unevenness in inner surface and to enable continuation of heating operation during cooling by turning over a receiving table holding a work positioning the axis in the inner surface in almost vertical and a nozzle injecting cooling liquid to the inner surface.
CONSTITUTION: The disk-like receiving table 25 is fixed at tip part of a rotary shaft 24 supported in almost horizontal at upper part from surface of the cooling liquid W in a tank 21, and at the center part thereof, the nozzle 26 is penetrated in vertical and fixed. On this receiving table 25, the work 30 is set as directing the axis of inner surface 31 heated with high frequency to the vertical direction. By this method, upper part of the nozzle 26 is inserted into the axial part of inner surface 3 and the inner surface 3 is forcedly and rapidly cooled without unevenness, with the cooling liquid injected from the nozzle 26. After passing the prescribed time, a motor 29 is worked, the receiving table 25 is turned over through a rotating shaft 24. In this result, the work 30 is dropped in a tank 21, and after clipping into the cooling liquid W, this is discharged from the tank 21 and the receiving table 25 is turned over once more and this apparatus is prepared to the next work 30.
