In the cooling device 1 for the shuttle of a sewing machine including a shuttle shaft disposed below a sewing machine table T, extended in a horizontal direction and rotated in linkage with a sewing machine main shaft, the vertical shuttle 2 provided on one end side of the shuttle shaft, and an air supplier 10 for blowing air toward the vertical shuttle and cooling the vertical shuttle, a suction inlet 11 is formed on the lower surface of the air supplier, a discharge port 12 is formed in the horizontal direction, and also a tightening member 14 for fixing the air supplier to the back surface of the sewing machine table and a filter 20 attachable to and detachable from the suction inlet of the air supplier by the tightening member are provided. The air supplier can be fixed to the back surface of the sewing machine table so that the air is blown from the front surface side of the vertical shuttle to the vertical shuttle.
