This cooling device 10 comprising a cooling apparatus 30 for cooling internal atmosphere of a main body cabinet 1 by using cold heat from the Stirling refrigerating machine 20, and cooling commodities inside of the main body cabinet 1 by utilizing the cooled internal atmosphere, comprises a box-shaped device main body 11 detachably mounted to the main body cabinet 1 and unitizing and receiving the Stirling refrigerating machine 20 and the cooling apparatus 30, a first heat exchanger 61 mounted detachably to a radiation end portion 22 of the Stirling refrigerating machine 20 and transferring high-temperature exhaust heat generated at the radiation end portion 22 to a refrigerant, and a second heat exchanger 62 formed on an optional surface of the main body cabinet 1, and allowing the refrigerant from the first heat exchanger 61 to radiate heat to release high-temperature exhaust heat from the surface to the external.
