Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling duct laying structure of a saddle riding type electric vehicle which can suppress a distortion.SOLUTION: In a rear part of a vehicle body frame 5, a power unit for generating a travelling and driving force of the vehicle is provided through a swing joint 17. The power unit is supported by a joint shaft 19 of a joint case 18. The power unit includes a battery 51 and a travelling and driving motor 32. A pair of right and left driving wheels 8R and 8L are connected to the power unit. A rear cushion 21 is interposed in a central part in the direction of a vehicle width between the rear part of the vehicle body frame 5 and the power unit. A battery case 50 is provided for accommodating the battery 51. A flexible cooling duct 70 for supplying cooling air to an inner part of the battery case 50 is connected to the battery case 50. The flexible cooling duct 70 is extended toward a front side along the joint shaft 19 under a state of proximity to the joint shaft 19.
