Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for rotating a cooling fan immediately after an engine is stopped when the rotation of the cooling fan is required by estimating the rise of temperature around the engine caused by the heat of catalysts.
SOLUTION: This cooling fan control device for controlling the cooling fan after the operation of the engine is stopped comprises an engine peripheral temperature estimating means for estimating a temperature around the engine after the operation of the engine is stopped based on the estimated temperature of the catalysts, an engine water temperature acquisition means for acquiring an engine water temperature, and a fan operation determination means for determining the operation of the cooling fan immediately after the engine is stopped based on the temperature around the engine and the engine water temperature.
