To provide a cooling fan capable of preventing the upper part of a hub of a fan wheel and the upper part of a blade from colliding with the bottom of a cover plate.
The cooling fan includes one base seat 1, one cover plate 2, one fan wheel 3, and one auxiliary shaft 4. The cover plate 2 is located on the upper part of the base seat 1. The fan wheel 3 is placed in pivotal contact with the base seat 1 via one turning shaft 31 in a turnable manner. One highest site T is included in the fan wheel 3, and one first clearance G1 is included between the highest site T of the fan wheel 3 and the bottom of the cover plate 2. The auxiliary shaft 4 is provided between the upper part of the hub 32 of the fan wheel 3 and the bottom of the cover plate 2. One second clearance G2 is included between the auxiliary shaft 4 and the upper part of the hub 32 or the bottom of the cover plate 2, and the second clearance G2 is smaller than the first clearance G1.
