Title:
COOLING AND HEATING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5640032
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a compact cooling and heating apparatus, which is capable of preventing frosting in a combustor during cooling operation and decreasing the size of the cabinet by eliminating an expansion tank for preventing pressure rise.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of heating operation, air in the room is drawn from an air inlet port 6 by in an indoor fan 4 and heated by a forced suction and exhaust type combustor 12 that has been kept in operation. Air thus heated is blown out into the room from an air outlet port 5. On the other hand, air supplied to combustor 12 is drawn by a burner fan 15 via a suction and exhaust pipe 13 and an air supply hose 17 and combusted after mixing with fuel injected into the combustor 12. Then, the combustion gas is discharged to the outside from an exguast pipe 14. Here although a cooling heat exchanger 2 is disposed immediately under combustor 12, it is not heated so much by combustor 12 since it is located on the downstream side in the air passage, which results in enabling to omit an expasion tank for preventing pressure rise. Thus, a compact cooling and heating apparatus can be obtained.
