Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling mechanism for vertical type heat treatment furnace and cooling method in which batch type heat treatment can be efficiently carried out.SOLUTION: A cooling mechanism for a batch type vertical heat treatment furnace 10 having a cylindrical inner chamber 1 is constituted in such a way that there are provided blast nozzles 21 for blowing gas from a lower part of the lower-most stage heater unit 5 of a plurality of heater units 5 divided to enclose the inner chamber 1 along the inner wall of the inner chamber 1 and in an upward direction and a helical gas flow is given to at least a lower part of the inner chamber 1. In addition, a cooling control method for the vertical heat treatment furnace 10 including such a cooling mechanism as above is carried out in such a manner that the blower nozzles 21 are operated when a temperature difference between an upper part and a lower part of the inner chamber 1 becomes a specified value or more after starting to cool.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
