To provide a method capable of cooling an aerial cable car simply and efficiently, and preventing this cable car from growing heavier to the utmost.
A liquefied carbonic acid gas feeder 11 is installed in the station or the like of a cable car 20, while a dry ice generation-cum-storage space and a cooling box 22 with a liquefied carbonic acid gas inlet and a cooling air outlet leading to this space are installed in the carble car, and at the station or the like, this liquefied carbonic acid gas is blown into the cooling box of the carble car from the liquefied carbonic acid gas feeder via the gas inlet, then the dry ice is formed in the cooling box, and thereby cooling air to be produced out of the dry ice in the cooling box during operation of the cable car is fed to an inner part of the cable car via the cooling air outlet.
