Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve combustion efficiency of an engine by providing a heat exchanger for refrigerant inside an exhaust pipe and making use of the cooling chamber of the engine as a carburetion chamber for the refrigerant and driving a gas turbine by the refrigerant gas generated there so as to enable to collect as power. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 7 is arranged in the exhaust gas passage 3 of an internal combustion engine 27 and driven by supplying high pressure gas (e.g. fleon gas) generated by the heat exchanger 7 to a gas turbine 13 and its power is transmitted to a crank shaft through an electric mechanism 28 and transmitted to a generator 25 through a transmission mechanism 29. And a refrigerant chamber in the internal combustion engine 27 is used as a carburetion chamber 20 for the refrigerant and the high pressure gas is similarly generated by the thermal energy included in the cooling water and this high pressure gas is supplied to the gas turbine 13. The gas that went out of the gas turbine 13 is circulated to the heat exchanger 7 and the carburetion chamber 20 through a radiator 16 and each compressor 19, 24.
