Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling method for a seismic isolation device capable of improving working environment by shortening a working period.SOLUTION: A method for cooling a seismic isolation device according to one embodiment is a cooling method of a seismic isolation device 10 provided with a laminated rubber 11.This cooling method includes a step of shrinking the laminated rubber 11 by cooling the laminated rubber 11 and a step of attaching an expansion suppressing member 30 for suppressing the expansion of the laminated rubber 11. Further, the height of the seismic isolation device 10 is lowered by cooling and shrinking of the laminated rubber 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
