Title:
COOLING METHOD OF SINTERED ORE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS556462
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To maintain the temperature of sintered ore constant and enable the sintered ore of superior quality to be obtained by controlling at least one of fans on the cooler exhause side of the continuously moving sintered ore layer by the specific method in cooling the sintered ore.

CONSTITUTION: Sintered ore is sent from a chute 1 into a trough 2 which is moved by a driving unit 3. Cooling fans 4a, 4b, 4c are provided above the trough 2 and the sintered ore is cooled by air 5. At this time, the temperature of the sintered ore 6 after cooling is detected and based on this temperature the cooling fans 4a, 4b, 4c positioned on the exhaust side of the cooler in this order are subsequently controlled of the number of their revolutions or ON-OFF controlled. Namely, constituting a temperature measuring unit 8, arithmetic unit 9, operation pause unit 11 and rotation control unit 12 and maintaining the temperature of the sintered ore 6 constant enable the sintered ore of superior quality to be obtained.
