To provide a cooling method and a system, and a continuous cooling method and a system, applicable to a batch method or a continuous method, without regularly making cold air flow in one direction, by highly maintaining the temperature and humidity of the cold air contacting with a processing object, by reducing a supply speed of dry cooling gas.
This cooling method cools a cooling object by supplying the cooling gas from a cooling chamber 3 to a cooling object storage processing chamber 1, and performs cooling under an agitating air current generated by making the agitating air current flow in the deflecting direction S to the supply direction M of the cooling gas from the cooling camber on the inside of a processing chamber. The cooling system has the processing chamber 1, the cooling chamber 3, a cooling gas sending means 4 and an agitating air current blowing agitating means 68. The continuous cooling method performs agitation and mixing under a different cooling condition in respective processing zones by successively moving the cooling object by a transfer means to a plurality of processing zones put in the mutually thermally cutoff relationship by respectively and independently supplying the cooling gas.
