To provide a pad having a cooling function which never slide from a prescribed position during use.

The cooling pad has sheet materials on the obverse and the reverse of polyurethane foam 4 to 12 mm thick, and joins the peripheral portion of the sheet materials to seal up the polyurethane foam therein. The polyurethane foam is impregnated with a solution having a viscosity of 30 to 600 cps and accounting for 70 to 120% of the volume of the polyurethane foam. The polyurethane foam is fixed in the pad by a fixing means.
