This cooling storage device comprises a packaged cold storage agent 51, the evaporator 55 connected with a refrigerating device 20, and constituted by arranging evaporating pipes 56 in a plurality of stages in tortuous state on a horizontal face for circulating a refrigerant, a storage box 70 receiving the cold storage agent 51 and capable of being held by a pair of transcalent heat transferring plates 71, and a pressure applying member 80 having an elastically-deformable pressing plate 85. The storage box 70 receiving the cold storage agent 51 is inserted into a storage space 60 between the evaporating pipes 56 adjacent to each other in the evaporator 55, and a group of cold storage agents 52 is disposed in a state of being compressed between the pressure applying member 80 and a side face of a cold storage agent chamber 13 with the evaporator 55.
