Title:
COOLING STRUCTURE OF POWER TRAIN CASE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009168145
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide the cooling structure of a power train case certainly cooling an inside by efficiently emitting heat.

This cooling structure of the power train case is provided with an oil pan 2 which stores lubricating oil and is formed below the case 3 of a power train 1 mounted on a vehicle. Fins 33 brought into contact with lubricating oil to cool the lubricating oil are provided inside of the oil pan, fins 32 cooling the oil pan are provided outside of the oil pan, and the fins inside of the oil pan and the fins outside of the oil pan are arranged in an area where they are opposed to each other. By this cooling structure, since the inside fins receive heat and the received heat is transmitted and emitted to the outside fins, efficient heat dissipation is performed. Thereby, an element made to serve as the heat generating source of the power train is certainly cooled. It is more preferable that the inside fins and outside fins are collinearly arranged.
