Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure of a rotary electric machine, configured to prevent a cooling liquid falling from a supply port from colliding with an outer peripheral surface of a coil end and scattering to the outside of the coil end.SOLUTION: A plurality of supply ports for supplying cooling liquid to a coil end 5 arranged in a rotary electric machine 1A with a rotation shaft 4 arranged laterally, are arranged above the coil end 5. In the cooling structure of the rotary electric machine including a guide member 10 for guiding the cooling liquid supplied to the coil end 5, the guide member 10 includes a plane section 10a covering a side surface of the coil end 5, an inner peripheral-side projection 10b protruding toward an upper inner periphery of the coil end 5, and an outer peripheral-side projection 10c protruding toward a lower outer periphery of the coil end 5. A supply port 20 of the plurality of supply ports for supplying the cooling liquid to a position close to an upper end of the coil end 5 is arranged in a position farther from the side surface of the coil end 5 than supply ports 21, 22.
