Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system for accessories of an engine to lower an atmospheric temperature around the accessories such as an igniter or the like.
SOLUTION: In the engine, a crankshaft 10 is vertically arranged in the engine, a flywheel 37 is disposed at an upper end of the crankshaft projecting upward from the engine, and the accessory 38 is disposed to neighbor the flywheel 37. A cover member 41 covers the flywheel 37, and an extending portion 45 covering an upper face and side faces of the accessory 38 is formed to the cover member 41. On the other hand, a ventilation mechanism 42 is disposed to the flywheel 37. After rotations of flywheels 37 make the ventilation mechanism 42 introduce air into the cover member 41, the air is introduced to the accessory 38 as cooling air through the extending portion 45 and is discharged from an exhaust port 47.
