Abstract:

To perform stable operation by shortening a time for performing forced circulation and smoothly switching from natural circulation to forced circulation.

A cooling system 10 of electronic equipment includes an evaporator 20 for evaporating a coolant by heat exchange with high temperature exhaust from electronic equipment and cooling the high temperature exhaust, a condenser 22 for liquefying the evaporated coolant, a gas pipe 26 for sending evaporated coolant gas to the condenser 22, a liquid pipe 24 for sending coolant liquid liquefied by the condenser 22 to the evaporator 20, and a natural circulation mechanism for naturally circulating the coolant. A controller 17 for calculating coolant level height needed to cool exhaust air to the temperature of exhaust air of the electronic equipment measured by a temperature sensor 34, and driving forced circulation means in the case that the coolant level height measured by a liquid level sensor 36 is lower than a calculated value is provided.
