Abstract:
To provide an apparatus and a method for removing heat from a device for generating heat.
The apparatus and a method preferably utilize an electroosmotic pump that can generate high pressure and high flow without moving mechanical components, generating uncomfortable electric or acoustic noise, and deteriorating reliability for the pump. Such an electroosmotic pump preferably improves its performance and efficiency and, is composed of a material and a structure capable of reducing weight and production costs, in comparison with currently available micropumps. The electroosmotic pump preferably can recover generated gasses and deposited materials, and implement a closed loop operation over a long period of time.
